An aluminium slat fence configurator offers three horizontal profiles with face heights of 100, 40 and 30 mm plus a 65 mm vertical slat. On the horizontal profiles the gap between slats is chosen from chips of 10 to 40 mm, and that directly changes how much you can see through, how much material is used and therefore the price.

The slat fence is the most variable type in the range and the one buyers misjudge most: the same height with a different slat and a different gap looks and costs completely differently. The configurator makes that relationship visible — a gap change shows in 3D instantly and feeds through into slat count and price.

What buyers can configure

Slat profile
Horizontal profiles with 100, 40 or 30 mm face heights and a 65 mm vertical slat; each gives the fence a different rhythm. The vertical slat takes a slat count per panel of 3 to 15 (15 by default).
Gap between slats
Chips of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 mm on horizontal profiles; the vertical slat uses a wider 5 to 50 mm range.
Panel height and width
Standard heights of 600 to 2,000 mm or a custom height of 400–3,000 mm; panel widths from 1,800 to 2,000 mm.
Boundary
One to four sides as a straight run, an L, a U or a closed perimeter, each 1.8 to 30 m long.
Posts, gates and colour
Aluminium or the buyer’s own concrete posts, caps, mounting method, up to two gates per side and the full RAL palette.

What the engine validates

Gap depends on the profile
The gap chips on offer change with the chosen profile; some values never appear for a given profile.
Slat count recalculates with the gap
Changing the gap recalculates the slats in a panel, so panel weight and price change with it.
Post upgrade above 1,500 mm
A taller fence moves to a stronger post profile automatically; above 2,000 mm the profile is not offered.
Minimum panel width
A leftover bay below 250 mm is never created — the layout algorithm distributes it into the other bays.
Two gates per side
At most two gates per side, each with its own position along the run.

Profile and gap
A narrower gap means more slats per panel; profile and gap both change material demand directly.
Panel dimension bracket
The panel price comes from the design × max width × max height bracket.
Side lengths and panel count
Total length and the chosen panel width determine how many panels are built.
Posts and anchoring
Post count, caps and the mounting method are charged separately.
Gates and equipment
Gate type, width and height plus post box, motorisation and electric lock.

Frequently asked questions

How does the gap affect the price?+

A narrower gap means more slats over the same panel height. The configurator recounts them and the price changes immediately, so the difference between 10 and 40 mm is visible before any quotation.

What separates the profiles?+

Face height — 100, 40 and 30 mm on horizontal slats and 65 mm on the vertical one. It changes the rhythm of the fence, the slat count and how it reads close up.

Why are not all gaps offered on every profile?+

The gap range is tied to the fence type. Vertical slats allow a wider range, horizontal ones a narrower one, and solid panels have no gap at all.

How are panels divided on an awkward side length?+

Economical mode builds as many full panels as possible and fills the remainder; equal mode divides the side into identical bays. A remainder below 250 mm is never produced.

Can horizontal and vertical slats be mixed?+
